The Hornets could not make it three wins in a row falling on the road 3-1 to Golden West College Wednesday night.
The loss ties FC with Riverside at seventh place (3-6) in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Rustler win keeps them in the race tied for third place with Cypress at 6-3.
Fullerton's Rebecca Hicks gave her best effort of the season with a team-high 14 kills. Lauren Schaefer was not too far behind with 11 kills. She also had 4 aces. Kailyn Case delivered 44 assists, 7 kills, and 3 aces. Carlie Ortega had 7 digs.
Up Next: The Hornets (6-9 overall, 3-6 OEC) will host Cypress College this Friday, October 20th. Game time is at 6:00 pm.
