The FC women's volleyball team hosted Saddleback College Friday night beating the Gauchos in three straight sets 25-20, 25-9, 25-17.
The win brings FC's record to 14-7 overall and 9-4 in the Orange Empire Conference. The Gaucho loss bumps them to 5-16 overall and 2-11 in the OEC.
Once again, Alex Winfeld led the Hornets with 8 kills, 21 assists, and 5 digs. Azucena Duarte had 7 kills and Shawnee Longmeyer followed up with 6 of her own. Carly Bergen was instrumental with 16 assists and 5 digs while Mallory Koci scooped up 11 digs. Victoria Rodriguez helped out with 10 digs as well.
Up Next: The Hornets will play their last regular season game for 2015 on Wednesday, November 18 at Golden West College at 6:00 pm. Fullerton will find out their playoff fate the following Friday to which seed they will be placed.
