The FC women's volleyball team hosted Irvine Valley College on Friday night handing the Lasers their third loss on the season 3-2: 23-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-19, 15-13.

HORNETS CAN BE HAZARDOUS: The FC women's volleyball team hosted Irvine Valley College on Friday night handing the Lasers their third loss on the season 3-2: 23-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-19, 15-13.

Dropping the first two games, #24 FC rallied to sweep the final three to beat one of the 12th ranked team in the state.

Jordyn Hecker led the way for Fullerton with 21 kills and 14 digs. Laura Hartzheim delivered with 48 assists, 3 aces, and 8 digs. Celeste Snider was all over the court with 34 digs while Samantha Palmer dug up 20 of her own.  Shawnna Chung also contributed with 15 digs and 4 aces.

Up Next: The Hornets (6-6 overall, 2-3 conference) hosts Santa Ana College on Wednesday, October 17th.  Game time is at 6:00 pm.
