The Fullerton College baseball team will open play in the 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoffs this Friday, May 1 on the road at El Camino College against Southwestern College.

Southwestern
The Fullerton College baseball team will open play in the 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoffs this Friday, May 1 on the road at El Camino College against Southwestern College.
A total of 48 teams were selected Sunday to compete for a spot in the 3C2A State Championship Tournament. Regional play begins this weekend at eight No. 1 seed host sites including El Camino, Santa Ana, Riverside, Allan Hancock, Glendale, Citrus, and College of the Desert.
The SoCal Regionals feature a three-team double-elimination format at each site. No. 2 and No. 3 seeds will face off Friday morning at 11:00 am with the loser playing later at 3:00 pm against the No. 1 host team. The winner of game one will play the loser of game 2 on Saturday at 1:00 pm at the host site.
The winner of the regional will move on to the 3C2A Super Regional round scheduled for May 7-9. From there, two teams from the South and two from the North will advance to the 3C2A State Championship Tournament set for May 23-25 at Great Park in Irvine.
Up Next: No. 2 seed Fullerton (21-19 overall) will square off against No. 3 Southwestern (20-19) at 11:00 am this Friday at El Camino College. The winner will advance to face No. 1 seed El Camino (33-7) at 3:00 pm.
