Running in the Mt. SAC Invitational last Friday, sophomore Brittany Rodriguez delivered a personal-record performance finishing 11th overall out of 65 runners with a time of 20:06. After sitting in the top 30 through the first mile, Rodriguez surged late in the race to secure a top-15 finish.

The rest of the women's team is gearing up to make an impact running in the upcoming Orange Empire Conference Championships.

Up Next: The Hornets have a bye this week but will be back in action on Friday, October 31st for the OEC Championships at Saddleback College. Races begin at 9:00 am.
