ELIANA FERNANDEZ MAKES IT OFFICIAL - SIGNS WITH LA SALLE
The standout sophomore from St. Joseph High School has officially signed with La Salle University continuing her academic and athletic journey after a stellar career with the Hornets.
Eliana Fernandez put together an impressive 2025 campaign finishing the year with 48 goals, 36 assists, 55 steals, and 34 exclusions drawn showcasing her versatility on both ends of the pool. Her strong play earned her All–Orange Empire Conference Honorable Mention recognition highlighting her impact among in one of the state's most competitive conferences.
At La Salle, Fernandez will compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), a conference known for featuring some of the top collegiate talent in the country. The move marks a significant step forward as she prepares to test her skills at the Division I level.
Hornets Head Coach Gabriel Martinez praised Fernandez's growth and dedication throughout her time in the program.
"I'm so proud of Eli's progress the last two years," Martinez said. "She has truly grown into a great player and student. I know she will do very well at La Salle."
With her production, work ethic, and continued development, Fernandez leaves a strong mark with the Hornets and now looks ahead to a bright future in Philadelphia.
