The top-tier Hornets opened the 2022 season at the Orange Coast College Tournament over the weekend playing some tough teams.
On Friday FC beat a tough Riverside City College squad 16-8 and then brought down Citrus College 18-5.
On Saturday, Fullerton sank Orange Coast 14-8 and they suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Long Beach City College 13-10. Fullerton was up 6-3 in the first quarter, however LBCC had a big second quarter scoring 4 unanswered goals keeping FC off balance for the remainder of the match. The Vikings (2-2) had lost earlier in the tournament to both Riverside and Orange Coast.
