WOMEN'S WATER POLO: LADY HORNETS ROLL

The FC women's water polo squad made a big splash over the weekend becoming the Saddleback Invitational champions after sweeping the competition.

In game one on Friday, the Hornets held off East L.A. College 16-0.  In game two on Friday, FC beat Ventrua College 17-6.

In game three on Saturday, Fullerton took out Chaffey College 15-5 and then later that day held off Grossmont College 15-11 to win the tournament title.

"It was a great start to our season, and we're just going to put our heads down and go to work", said Head Coach Gabriel Martinez.

Up Next: Fullerton (4-0) will open up conference-play at Orange Coast College on Wednesday, September 18th.  Game time is at 3:00 pm.
