Krostag Earns All-American Honors as Hornets Shine at 3C2A State Championships.
The FC track & field teams closed out a strong 2026 campaign over the weekend at the 3C2A State Championships hosted at Mt. San Antonio College highlighted by an All-American performance from Jenna Krostag and several standout finishes against the state's top competition.
Krostag led the way for the Hornets on the women's side placing 3rd overall in the 400 meters with a time of 56.66 to earn All-American honors. She also added another state finals appearance in the 200 meters, where she finished seventh overall after crossing the line in 24.79.
Olivia Yturriaga also represented the Hornets well at the state meet taking 10th overall in the javelin with a throw of 104 feet, 5 inches.
As a team, the Hornet women finished 23rd overall in the state with eight team points.
On the men's side, Zidane Ras turned in an impressive weekend in the distance events. Ras captured 5th overall in the 10,000 meters with a time of 32:41.34 and later placed 11th in the 5,000 meters after finishing in 15:40.70.
The state championships capped off a successful season for the Hornets, who saw numerous athletes record personal-best performances throughout the year while making a strong push at the state level.
