The FC women's tennis team won their second straight match on Saturday defeating Porterville 9-0 on the Hornet courts.
In doubles-play, wins were had by Alexus Lombera / Ashely Castro (9-7), Savanna Scheiner-Vanhoutee / Janet Schiau (8-3), and Jeanelle Canal / Ashley Yanez (8-4).
Lombera clinched it for Fullerton in singles-play beating her opponent 6-0, 6-2. Other winners on the day included Ashley Castro (4-6, 7-5, 1-0), Janet Schiau (6-2, 6-1), Schriener-Vanhoutte (6-3, 6-0), Canal (6-2, 7-5), and Yanez (6-2, 6-1).
Up Next: The Hornets (2-0) will host College of the Canyons on Tuesday, February 4th at 2:00 pm.
