The FC women's basketball team lost one on the road Wednesday night at Saddleback College 53-43.
Saddleback took control of the game early, and they did not relinquish their lead. FC did not have an answer for Teoncea Bennett and Irma Ealy (13 rebounds) who each scored 14 points to pace the Gauchos.
The loss gives the Hornets an overall record of 5-18 and an OEC record of 1-10, while the Gaucho win improves their record to 10-19 overall and 3-8 in the OEC.
Fullerton's Emilee Dy scored a team-high 15 points with Jasmine Young adding 11 points and Nancy De La Cruz collecting 10 rebounds.
Up Next: FC (5-18, 1-10) will hit the road again this Friday, February 19th at Cypress College. Game time is at 5:00 pm.
