HORNETS CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THE WARRIORS: Falling 68-57 at home, Fullerton College did their best to keep up with El Camino College in the first half Thursday night in the Hornets Nest, but the second half was a different story.
FC trailed El Camino 22-19 by the end of the first half, but the game changed right away when the Warrior's Samone Davis scored all of her 19 points in the second half. The Hornets had no answer as they shot 28.4% from the floor.
El Camino also scored 21 points off of turnovers while Fullerton scored 4.
A bright spot for FC, Kyasha Wilson scored a game-high 25 points and brought down 13 rebounds for a double-double. She also had 2 blocks and 4 steals. Irma Urzua dropped in 17 points and Andrya Ventura contributed 7.
Up Next: The Hornets (2-4 overall) will play at the L.A. Valley College Tournament December 7-9.
