Fullerton wrapped up the season with a three-game-sweep of Saddleback College for a second-place finish in the Orange Empire Conference with a record of 10-8. FC's overall record stands at 17-21. Cypress and Orange Coast will share the OEC title finishing with 15-3 records.
Mt. SAC placed fourth overall in the South Coast Conference and closed the season with a 26-13 overall record with an 18-6 mark in conference-play. A strong hitting team, the Mounties have a batting average of .360. The team pitching is also a major strength with a 2.52 ERA. Hitters to watch are Katie Griego (.404/25 RBI/27 runs), Morgan Kneubuhler (.400/33 RBI/24 runs), Amanda Porterfield (.400/15 RBI/9 runs), Samantha Orozco (.394/27 RBI/25 runs), and Sarai Raygoza (.368/16 RBI/27 runs). Pitchers to keep an eye on are Kayden Connaty (8 wins/1.82 ERA/78 Ks), Samantha Vizcarra (10 wins/2.83 ERA/59 Ks), and Isabella Guerrero (7 wins/3.22 ERA/19 Ks).
For the Hornets, the team has a batting average of .301 with an ERA of 4.46. At the plate, Veronica Moore (.437/43 RBI, 27 runs) has been the RBI leader with 41. She is the all-time career leader with 89 and counting. She tied the RBI in a season last year with 46 and is at 43 and counting this season. Other hitters to watch are Linsey Arostigue (.295/20 RBI/14 runs), Bethany Morrison (.345/19 RBI/27 runs), Hope Morales (.318/16 RBI/27 runs), Jianna Lopez (.341/9 RBI/14 runs), Avery Wiersma (.314/10 RBI/4 runs), and Juliana Ursino (.319/9 RBI/14 runs). The workhorse for Fullerton this season has been Grace Workman, who has 11 wins, 60 Ks, with a 4.30 ERA in 167.2 innings. Hope Morales has thrown 45 innings with 6 wins, 4 Ks, with a 4.36 ERA.
