LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. revealed the nine recipients of 2024 Cal JC Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, presented by the NFCA, on Thursday afternoon.
Mt. San Antonio College freshman Morgan Kneubuhler, the 2024 Diamond Sports/NFCA Catcher of the Year, and New Balance/NFCA Golden Shoe winner Jazmine Macias, a Cerritos College sophomore right fielder, headline the honorees, who are being recognized as the best defensive players at their respective positions in Cal JC for the 2024 season.
Kneubuhler's Mountie teammate and fellow freshman Audrey White is the Gold Glove first baseman, while Palomar College sophomores Guilianna Clavel and Maddie Scott are the other set of teammates on the prestigious nine-player squad, earning the nods at pitcher and center field, respectively.
Fullerton College sophomore second baseman Jordan Elias, American River College sophomore third baseman Bella Garcia and Long Beach City College freshman shortstop Xiomei Geluz are the other infield selections.
El Camino College freshman left fielder Anahi Pintado rounds out the honorees, joining Macias and Scott in the Gold Glove outfield.
Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, presented by the NFCA, were selected by a full NFCA Cal JC membership vote following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The group utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position. Any student-athlete that competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
