As the FC softball team prepares for the opening round of the Southern California Regional Playoffs, six Hornet softballers earned All-Orange Empire Conference honors.

Earning 1st Team All-OEC was freshman catcher Casey Dufrene, who led the Hornets in hits with 49. In 42 games played thus far, Dufrene has a .386 batting average, 22 RBI, 18 runs, and had 10 doubles. From behind the dish, Casey threw out 8 runners and has 182 put-outs.

Shortstop Dee Ramirez earned her second All-OEC nod as she was a 1st Team selection last season. Making 2nd team this season, Ramirez batted .386 with 37 RBI, 23 Runs, and has 34 hits in 38 games played.
 
Infielder Jocelyn Jauregui played second base, shortstop, and third base throughout the season, while batting .353, has 9 RBI, 11 runs, and 18 hits in 26 games so far.
 
Earning Honorable Mention All-OEC honors were Olivia Nunez, Bella Morales, and Alendy Aguilar.

Up Next: No. 13 seed Fullerton College (20-20 overall) will play a best-of-three series in the SoCal Regionals at No. 5 Long Beach City College beginning this Friday, May 6th at 2:00 pm. The second game will be Saturday May 7th at Long Beach City at noon. If needed, game three will be at 2:00 pm. The complete SoCal Regional Bracket.
