THREE HORNETS TO THE ALL-ORANGE EMPIRE CONFERNCE TEAM

The Fullerton College men's water polo program made its mark this season under new head coach Gary Cheever with three standout freshmen earning All-Orange Empire Conference honors.

Leading the way was freshman scorer Christian Johnston, who was named to the Second Team All-OEC after an impressive debut season. Johnston finished the year with 56 goals, 8 assists, and 16 steals across 16 games.

Fullerton also landed two Honorable Mention All-OEC selections both proving to be key contributors on both ends of the pool.

Freshman Luke Meldrum racked up 31 goals, 22 assists, 19 steals, and 5 blocks in just 13 games.

Freshman Yony Bautista also earned Honorable Mention honors after showcasing elite playmaking abilities. Bautista totaled 19 goals, 40 assists, and 11 steals over 19 games.

highlighting a strong season of growth and impact for the young Hornets.

With three freshmen earning conference accolades, the future remains bright for the FC men's water polo program that continues to build for the seasons ahead under Coach Cheever.
