FIVE VOLLEYBALL HORNETS LAND ALL-NORTHERN DIVISION HONORS
The FC men’s volleyball was well represented on the All-Northern Division Team following a breakout 2026 campaign that saw the Hornets finish 15-9 overall, fifth in state in the final CCCMVCA poll, and advance to the 3C2A State Semifinals.

Leading the way were a pair of First Team selections in sophomore outside hitter Samuel Chavez and sophomore middle blocker Jasper Nadelson, while freshman libero Saman Bagheri earned Second Team honors. Freshmen Logan Busch and Emiliano Razo rounded out the group with Honorable Mention recognition.
First Team
Samuel Chavez, Sophomore, Opposite
Chavez anchored the Hornets offensively all season appearing in 22 matches and recording a team-high 294 kills (3.54 kills per set)- 4th in state. He added 100 digs (1.20/set) and 50 total blocks while hitting .224. His consistent production on the right side gave Fullerton a go-to weapon in key moments throughout the postseason run.
Jasper Nadelson, Sophomore, Middle Blocker
A dominant presence at the net, Nadelson was one of the most efficient hitters in the division posting a .412 hitting percentage with 192 kills (2.21/set). He totaled 114 blocks (1.31/set), which is second overall in the state. Nadelson also racked up 27 solo stops while anchoring a Hornet defense that controlled the middle all year.
Second Team
Saman Bagheri, Freshman, Libero
Bagheri made an immediate impact in his first season, leading the team with 217 digs (3.19/set) across 18 matches- 4th in state. He also contributed 32 receptions and 21 assists serving as the backbone of Fullerton's back row with his consistency and defensive range.
Honorable Mention
Logan Busch, Freshman, Outside Hitter
Busch emerged as a reliable offensive option finishing with 236 kills (2.59/set) in 24 matches while hitting .250. He added 160 digs (1.76/set) and 42 total blocks showcasing his all-around ability and versatility on both sides of the ball.
Emiliano Razo, Freshman, Setter
Razo directed the Hornet offense dishing out 531 assists (6.64/set), which was 4th in state. He added 93 digs and 21 total blocks. His ability to distribute and control tempo played a key role in Fullerton's deep postseason push.
With a balanced mix of veteran leadership and emerging young talent, the Hornet's five All-Northern Division selections highlight a season defined by growth and toughness. FC will look to build on its semifinal appearance this past season as the program sets its sights on another state run in 2027.
