The Fullerton College tennis program continues to rise under the leadership of head coach Dr. Yolanda Duron, who has guided the Hornets since 2017 after a successful seven-year stint at the University of La Verne.
This past season proved to be one of the most memorable in recent history for both the men's and women's teams, highlighted by individual accolades, national rankings, and postseason success.
2025 Hornet Highlights:
- 4 ITA Scholars (Josie Miranda, Alyssa Lopez, Arleth Vegas-Estevez, and Ubaldo Gomez)
- Women's Tennis finishes 16th in ITA rankings
- Josie Miranda awarded ITA the Most Improved Sophomore
- Josie Miranda awarded by the FC Athletics Department the "Ed Carroll Leadership Award
- 4 Hornets signed with Hope International University (David Gutierrez, Michael Lumang, Josie Miranda, and Kristal Mendoza)
- Sebastian Koster goes to the quarterfinals at the State Tournament in Ojai
- 8 players qualify to play in the State Tournament (Sebastian Koster, David Guttierrez, Felix Jayamaha, Michael Lumang, Josie Miranda, Justine Koo, Arleth Vega-Estevez, and Alyssa Lopez)
