It was a rough season opener for the FC men's tennis team losing to visiting Glendale College 8-1.

It was a rough season opener for the FC men's tennis team losing to visiting Glendale College 8-1.

The lone singles victory came from Louis St. Clair who beat his opponent 6-0, 6-1.

Despite a good effort in doubles-play, Fullerton was swept by the Vaqueros. The team of Isacc Tse and Kevin Kim lost a close one 6-8 as did St. Claire and Scott Merrit by the same score.

Up Next: The Hornets (0-1 overall) will hit the courts again this Thursday, January 30th when they travel to Victor Valley College. Matches begin at 2:00 pm.
