GOOD START: The FC men's tennis team opened up their season with an 8-1 win at Victor Valley College on Thursday.
It was a non-conference victory in which the Hornets dropped only one match.
In singles-play, Hornets Matthew Mulrooney and Donald Vu swept their competitors 6-0, 6-0. Jake Altshuler won 6-1, 6-0.
In doubles, Mulrooney and Michael Napoli won 8-5, Altshuler and Tyler Appel won 8-4, and Jan-Russell Young and Juio Montalvo won 8-6.
Up Next: The Hornets (1-0 overall) will travel to Glendale College on Tuesday, February 7th. Matches will begin at 2:00 pm.
