SWIM & DIVE: THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Hornets wrapped up their season over the weekend at the State Championships held at East Los Angeles College. 

The three-day event featured the state's best competition with four Hornets competing among all those that qualified.

For the FC men, Joe Babbitt placed 12th in the 200 freestyle, 15th in the 50 freestyle, and 13th in the 100 freestyle.

Kyle Graves took 16th in the 100 breaststroke and 18th in the 200 breaststroke.

Thomas Beckelheimer placed 12th in the 3-meter diving event.

Gabriella Garcia represented the FC women taking 10th place in the 100 freestyle, 14th in the 50 freestyle, and 20th in the 200 freestyle.

The state team scores for the Hornets were 29th for the women and 25th for the men.
