WOOD SIGNS WITH RNY FC

Former Fullerton College soccer standout Christian Wood goes pro signing with Rochester New York of the MLS Next Pro League.

Wood played for the Hornets in 2018 where he was an 1st Team All-Orange Empire Conference selection. He then landed a scholarship from Loyola Marymount where he excelled as a Lion earning top honors as one of the best defenders in the West Coast Conference. 

Proving to be one of the top modern left backs in today's game of soccer, Wood joins an exciting new league in MLS NEXT Pro that will begin playing in 2022. The league will feature 20 teams from the United State and Canada with eight additional teams joining in 2023.
