The Hornets lost a needed conference game at home Friday 1-0 against Irvine Valley.
The loss bumps the 2019 OEC champs to 1-3 in the conference standings, while the Lasers move up to 2-2.
It was a very physical game where the Hornets had many opportunities to score. Unfortunately, the ball did not bounce in Fullerton's favor even though the offense spent a most of the game on IVC's side of the field.
In the 20th minute, an odd cross shot by Irvine Valley proved to be the game's deciding goal.
Up Next: Fullerton (7-5-1 overall, 1-3 OEC) travels to Santiago Canyon College on Tuesday, October 12th. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
