The Hornets lost a close game at home on Tuesday at the hands of conference rival Santa Ana College 1-0.
The Fullerton loss put them in third place (tied with Orange Coast) in a tight Orange Empire Conference race at 2-1-2. Meanwhile, Santa Ana's win rockets them into first place in the OEC with a record of 3-0-2.
The game's only goal came in the 60th minute by the Dons' Matheus Cuhna with the assist coming from Gbanzi Asabi.
FC had a couple of goal chances to tie the game up but fell short against a quick and skilled Santa Ana squad.
Up Next: The Hornets (4-6-2 overall, 2-1-2 OEC) will hit the road against Santiago Canyon College for another OEC showdown this Friday, October 6th. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
