FC beat a tough Cypress College squad 2-0 on the road last Friday.
Heading into the game, Cypress was ranked #10 in Southern California by the CCCAA/CCCSIA, and the unranked Hornets held them scoreless.
Brian Jaquez scored the first goal of the day with the assist coming from Manuel Gonzalez. Jaquez also logged an assist feeding Jose Garcia for the second goal on the day.
FC goalie Marco Barrera played the entire 90 minutes maintaining the shutout with 3 saves.
