NEHEMIAH NOORWOOD SIGNS WITH NAU

Grey-shirt freshman Nehemiah Norwood will be the first Hornet to officially sign his national letter of intent with Northern Arizona University closing out the 2025 football season with a major milestone and a well-earned Division I opportunity in the Big Sky Conference.

Norwood played a big role in the secondary throughout the Hornet's 8-3 campaign. The playmaking defensive back posted 36 tackles (23 solo), along with 2 tackles for loss, 8 pass breakups, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery making one of the most dependable defenders on the roster.

"Nehemiah is a true gamer. He knows how to prepare week in and week out. I'm very proud of his accomplishments and look forward to seeing his success at the next level at Northern Arizona as the Lumberjacks are getting a good one", FC Co-Head Coach Phil Austin.

Norwood becomes the next in a long line of Hornets to elevate their game to the Division I level. Stay tuned as many more of his teammates will be signing deals soon.
