The Hornet doubles team of Alexandra Altamirano and Kalie Laubie came into the Orange Empire Conference Tournament as the #3 seed and finished in the finals in second place. Singles player Alexandra Altamirano also made her presence known going all the way to the finals as the #7 seed.

Fullerton's #2 seed Altamirano and Laubie opened up with Cypress' team of Velasco and Ngai and won 6-0, 6-2. In the next round, they faced off with the Riverside team of Nguyen and Bauman and won 6-2, 6-0. In the semi-final match, Altamirano and Laubie knocked off the Saddleback team of Wilette and Parks and beat them 6-2, 6-0. In the finals, the two Hornets took on the #3 seed Saddleback team of Malkonian and Colin where they fell 6-4, 6-3. The #1 seed Colling and Trinh of Orange Coast was stunned by the Riverside team of Papaco and Ante and went on to lose to the doubles champion team of Malkonian and Colin.

Hornet Alexandra Altamirano came into the tournament as the #7 seed and went all the way to the finals where she lost to Orange Coast College's #4 Karen Trinh (7-5, 6-2). Altamirano's road to the title was not an easy feat as she had to knock off #3 seed Saddleback's Dominique Wilette (5-7, 6-1, 6-4) and #6 Riverside's Hana Papaco (6-3, 6-1).
